The Graduate
Jack graduated from 3 yr old preschool! Most of our family came to watch including Grandma Ann, Aunt Kater, Aunt Tiff, Grandma Kayle and Grandpa Bruce. Jack was so secretive about what he had been learning all year and we were surprised to see the class perform some great songs and the Pledge of Allegiance! So proud of our little guy!!
Apple Academy Class of 2012
Jack had a great time this year at the Apple Academy with Mrs. Blackett. They did some really fun activities like visiting a farm, pumpkin patch and park plus a Halloween party and Easter Egg Hunt. They also learned shapes, colors, farm animals and letters! I asked Jack if it was mostly hard work or mostly fun and he said mostly hard work!! He is already looking forward to seeing his friends and teacher again next year!!
Easter Egg Rolling 2012
Easter 2012
Great Grandma Kayle's favorite Easter activity is rolling eggs...
First you find a large sandy area with no crazy four wheelers whizzing around (not an easy task)...
Then you sit on your bum and slide (or get dragged) down a hill to make a "track" for your eggs...
then you use shovels, hands and whatever else you can find to smooth out your track, build turns and tunnels...
Then you race your eggs!!
Jack and his cousin Trae had a blast!!
We had the best Easter weather for egg rolling!
Jack's "track" made with help from Grandma and Trae..
The hardest part was getting UP!
Easter Morning 2012
This was Jack's confused face.. We had told him since he was being a monster in the days preceding Easter that he probably would not be getting a bike. He asked "Mom, who is this bike for? It looks small for you..."
Checking out his Easter goodies, and Mom and Dad's basket too.
He hopped right on his bike and rode like a pro!
Getting help from Dad...
Mom and Jack and his first 'big boy bike'
